We were invited by Sinclair Elementary School to get involved in tutoring children, many of whom are learning English at the same time they are trying to learn the basics. Tutors are trained by the school and need no special experience. (MORE)
Lunch Ladies
The "Lunch Ladies" provide a meal at Fairfax County's Mountain View School's monthly "Lunch and Learn" program for pregnant and parenting teens. The Lunch Ladies serve a meal while teen parents receive information on topics that relate to child birth, child care and parenting.
During the holidays, we provide practical gifts to the pregnant and parenting students and their children. we also provide support for the February and June graduation reception.
